About Rat Cave:

Currently, the eight established lines (only counting full-length routes) go at 11d, 12a, 12b, 12d, 12d, 13a, 13b and 13c (there's hardly a consensus on these grades). The routes are cryptic, beta-intensive, steep, often bouldery, and always sustained. Sending the crag in a month would be a mighty impressive effort. Note: some of the routes have fixed draws/anchors which have been purchased and maintained by commmunity effort. Please leave fixed gear in place. If something needs to be replaced, do that, and leave the old gear in the small cave near the warmup. If you have a question or concern, feel free to drop me a line. Thanks.
