Main Wall
About Main Wall:
This is the bread and butter of the Rim Rock climbing experience. Routes range from 30 - 80 ft and offer no bolted climbs. Top-roping is the sport of choice, as the majority of the rock doesn't get along well with cams or nut placements. |
Approach: | Follow the main trail to the overlook. Reach the bottom either by the slippery stairwell down the middle of the rocks, or follow the trail all the way around and down. Many unofficial trails run very close to the edge of the faces. Use caution when building an anchor for TR'ing. |
