About Windy Tree Area:

This area is a shaded area just past the cleared telephone/gas line right-of-way to the left. There are roughly 9-11 boulders/walls in this area with slabs, overhangs, cracks, flakes, bare walls and slopey climbing. It has a great diversity of climbs from VB-V6+ (and projects).
Approach: FROM ACCESS ROAD: Travel pass where the telephone/gas line right-of-way crosses the access road. Just before reaching a white RANGE gas pump (on right of trail), look left and find PINK flagging on a tree with the state gamelands placard on it. Head down slick rocks to obvious, slightly spread out boulders. FROM FIRST ROCKS AREA: Head to end of First Rocks climbing area, then head into the open telephone/gas line corridor. Look straight across and a little downhill for boulders on edge of opposite treeline. Go to those boulders and look for PINK flagging. Obvious boulders straight through brush there.

Access Issues: watch snakes in telephone/gas line cleared corridor as it is a great place for them to hide. Be careful.
