About Obed--Lilly Boulders:

Lilly Boulders are without a doubt, the most popular bouldering area near Knoxville Tennessee. There are many opportunities for moderate bouldering problems, as well as some rather stout ones. *IMPORTANT NOTE* Parking at the old pulloff for the Lilly Boulders is causing access problems. Large boulders are now blocking the old parking area, and the bridge has been torn down. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ALONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!! Park at the parking area for the Tourist overlook at the top of the hill. Also, camping is not allowed at the boulders. Please be respectfull of the signs and these simple rules, and help keep access open. Check out the AWESOME online guidebook at Dr. Topo. It is the best guidebook that exists! |

| Directions: | From the bridge over Clear Creek (coined Lilly Bridge by floaters) Drive up the hill towards the tourist overlook parking area. You will pass the entrance to Lilly boulders on your right. Continue up the hill and park in the well marked tourist parking lot, and walk back down about 1/8th of a mile to the boulders. |
