About Cedar Canyon:
A limestone cliff band at around 8,000 feet in the pine forest of Cedar Canyon. The area has been popular as a rappelling site for many years, but now hosts around 20 climbing routes. Development continues each summer as the approach is minimal and the setting enjoyable. This is a good crag for summer and fall climbing. Late spring is also a good bet. |

Directions: | Take state road 14 west up the canyon for about 9 miles. Look for a pullout on the left (or east side) of the road. This is also where the Blow Hard mountain bike trail ends. The cliffs are obvious. |
