About South Sixshooter:

This is the smaller of the two solitary towers sitting on talus cones in Indian Creek. Approach by driving past the towers, and then turning left onto the road leading in to Davis Canyon(marked by a sign for Canyonlands). Follow the rough 4WD road as it winds around the mesa at the base of the South Sixshooter. Park just before the road leaves the mesa. A trail exists after climbing a short cliffband on the right side of the major gully, and will help immensely in passing the upper cliff bands and talus cone. The approach takes about an hour.
