Description:
FA Tim Toula and Kathy Zaiser, april 26, 1987. Follow splitter crack line on s. face up ever widening crack pithces. 1st 5.9 loose. 2nd 5.9+ chim. 3rd 5.10 up awkward ow. 4th climb above the belay up boulder strewn corner to the "death flake" where some face moves off bad gear gain the belay, 10d. 5th climb the 5-7 inch crack, 11d. 6th climb the 200' chim to a single bolt belay (yipes!). 7th finish chim to a single bolt wich protects a 10d face move. Climb to summitt. Make 4 165' raps down the wesr ridge from fixed gear. Finding the 3rd rap can be hard. Walk along an exposed ramp until the anchors are found.
