South Fork of Taylor Creek: Across (north) from the routes Namaste and Huecos Rancheros is the Marmot slab. This route is just right of Pins and Needles and just left of a short decomposing left facing corner. A very well bolted slab route with a cool mantle crux. After the eighth bolt its a bit runout on easy ground to the anchors. FA: D Thomas/A Frates 5/1996

This was the first ascent of the route, May 1996
Bolted on the lead, too many bolts but very safe. I may clean it up this summer but its still a fun fun route and a great intro to harder sandstone friction :)
