About Minnehaha:
Minnehaha is one of Spokane's most popular rock climbing areas. It is located on Upriver Drive northeast of downtown. Minnehaha is made up of cource granite and has a main wall of 70 feet. There are also several smaller walls including the nice overhanging Don Quixote. Minne is an excellent bouldering destination with a huge variety of routes. It also has a nice selection of moderate trad routes from 5.4 to the 5.11s. This is the first outdoor rock climbing area to many people in the Spokane area, you will see lots of topropes. There are 2 classic routes rated 4 stars and well known. The Dihedral (5.9+) and Don Quixote (5.10D). |
