Teewinot Mtn.
About Teewinot Mtn.:
Looking up from the Jenny Lake Campground, Teewinot Mtn. is the highest visible peak. Some visitors tend to mistake it for the Grand Teton. The view from the summit is spectacular. The trail to the start of the climbs starts at the Lupine Meadows trailhead. It heads west through bushes and willows and then follows cairns up a series of slabs to a rock band next to a waterfall. It then heads north for a while before hitting a series of switchbacks which leads to what is known as the Apex. This is the jumping off point for most climbs on Teewinot. |
