Approach this area by heading West out of Cody into the Shoshone Canyon. Turn left (South) onto Cedar moutain and follow the dirt road up the Switchbacks. The end of the fourth switchback is a hairpin turn in a gully with slight shoulder to pull off and park. Follow a steep trail that cuts across the hillside and bactrack northeast up to the ridge. Follow this trail roughly east, when it fades away, continue in the same direction until it reappears. Follow it through a small rock outcrop and down to a road. Looking southeast you will see a few boulders in the base of the drainage and some on the south east facing hillside. Descend steeply into the base of the drainage. |
