See, your face doesn't really show up clearly anywhere in your profile, which is kind of funny. Even in the pic of the armadillo you still can't make out a clear (armadillo) face. I was making the obviously absurd connection that from the lack of a clear photo, for all we know that picture of the armadillo might as well be your picture (as in a picture of you). The key word here is 'absurd' so that one could tell I clearly wasn't being serious or trying to insult you.
Armadillos = short, armored (helmet-like armor), and in this picture it looks like it's passed out drunk, thus short drunk in a helmet (which, as I've pointed out, also describes many climbers... this is a web site for climbers).
Why am I explaining this? I'm not really sure. There was nothing malicious in my post. Sorry you just naturally assumed such and came at me with a couple of the worst lines I have ever heard in my life.

Are you kidding me? You replied to me directly right after I posted that comment and picture, and then some twenty posts later reacted to a non-existent insult (there really was no insult intended). Yes, I'm the clueless one here. To top it off, you rip off a horribly lame and unoriginal line that a third-grader would be embarrassed to use.

Are you saying I was off topic? You complain we can't put faces to names: there isn't a photo I could recognize you by in your profile. I jokingly pointed this out. Seems on topic to me. I don't really think there's anything wrong with it and you do have photos even if your face doesn't show clearly in any of them, but I did think it was a little funny.
The rocket science bit also doesn't really work for me. Is that an attempt to call me stupid? It doesn't really add up though. Saying someone 'isn't exactly a rocket scientist.' is intended to be litotic, but I think you really lost the sense of that in your delivery. Some of the most intelligent people in the world probably know little or nothing about rocket science as it falls into neither their field of study nor interest.
Well, whatever. Do what you want; think what you want. I don't know your name and only have a vague sense of what you look like, but if you're ever looking to identify me just check my profile. (See, that was a joke... maybe not all that funny, but better than a lame cliché).
So, back to rocket science...
