Just so I can visualize, you were leading, and when you fell, you decked, but the first piece caught you slightly?

If you'd rather not discuss the details publicly, that's totally fine.

GO

Gabe I'm happy to discuss the details, but given the events of a year ago, I would rather we talked in private. Neither do I have any desire to offer myself up to the accident and injury forum flame pit.
you have my email, don't you? if you've got my cel still call me.

Or, watch this video:

I am leading Cerberus, but taking the much easier right handed start, and then traversing left to the main crack system. where I fell from was about 5 feet left of that easy start.

I've added annotations to the video. pause it at 21 seconds for some feet info for start and fall, and again at 46 seconds, for hand positions, start thru fall, with the initial gear placement. due to the camera angle foreshortening, "left hand - second position", and "left hand - first position" look very close to each other, rather the second position is about 1 foot right and 2.5 feet above the left hand first pos. its almost a cross hand move. ordinarily its a VERY positive hand.

i just uploaded another vid of me toproping the climb doing the exact move i fell from. I'll link it once it fnishes processing.

here it is:

in it, is the essential mistake that caused my fall: pause the vid at 21 seconds and look where my left hand is. when I led it on the 20th, I reached for the similar hold about 5 inches lower, which is shallower and dirtier.
