It's 10-20 bucks for a new one, BUY ONE! Fail. Cable is not structural, wear on it does not mean the device itself is worn. Fail? His advice, BUY A NEW DEVICE is spot on. And besides, the picture I saw, the device had apparent wear on it. DMT It has wear, but the WCVC is one big honkin' chunk o' metal, it would take quite a bit more wear to make it unusable. There may be an edge developing, but that could easily be taken care of, it's not like the old reverso that wears itself into a knifeblade. I have the same device with similar wear in the slots. Even more damaged on the outside when I used it to hammer out a stuck nut. I would still use it if I hadn't switched to an ATC guide.
