Leashless Technique

Hi Folks,

After several seasons climbing leashless with Quarks, I am making the transition to real leashless tools, old style Nomics. I have climbed on them a couple of times, and I really like them.

Here's my question: what are some good ways to incorporate the higher grip position into upward progression?

I find the higher grip comfortable as a rest position, because I can get my arms straight(er), and I like the higher grip when traversing and matching hands, but how else can it be used?

I imagine I could move my hands up to the higher grip, and walk my feet up in small steps, as a way to gain more height with each placement.

Anything else?

Thanks,

Bruno
