I guess if my posts are going to be critiqued, I might as well post a link to the full document: Highline Rigging Information

USNavy, always good to see someone out to verify data. I think this is especially important since my assertion was contrary to some of the old schoolers out there who are busy serving as mentors to a new generation of highliners.

Also, if you are interested, I've got a spare hydraulic pull back ram I'd part with. It might simplify your pull tester.

Also, for sewing, try some TH69 Bonded nylon for top and bottom - it isn't what everyone uses, but its about the biggest thread you'll get through a non-commercial sewing machine.

A commercial bar tacker will get very consistent results and a trusted stitch count. I might be able to assist if you have a particular project in mind.
