:deadhorse: I think we should have a mexican-style duel. Yes, that would settle this all nicely. Whoever walks away gets bad spelling priveleges for eternity. :boring: Cheers, A.W.

In reply to: pistols at dawn? The weapons chosen are pistols. The pistols are to be prepared by the seconds in front of all the attendees. (To ensure there is no cheating). The participants are to walk ten paces while holding their pistols perpendicular. The statement to be said to commence the dual is, "Gentlemen, are you ready? Fire - one-two-three-halt!" The intervals between shots is to be one second. Other particulars include: that the wind and sun is to be equally divided among the duelists. In addition, the challenger and the challenged may each have a a surgeon and three friends at the site. OOOooorrrrrrr.... We could resolve this over drinks next week -- loser has to climb their first route sans pants. I, of course, will join them. Cheers, A.W.

In reply to: In reply to: Dear Ms. Stewart, Thank you for your great literary contribution to Rockclimbing.com. In your missinterpretation of Katie's comments you used such wonderfully mindblowing vocabulary and grammar, so uncommon to the English trash on this site, that I suffered from a mild stroke and lost the hearing in my left ear and all the sensation in my fingertips. Also, now everytime I try to say "cat" I say "dog" causing MASS confusion at the pound. Not only did you use words suchs as, "integrity," "concur," "kettle," "bandwagon," and "lay(my personal favorite)," but you also managed to write an amazing SIX sentences! Martha, I SALUTE you! I am glad to see that you stick your nose into other peoples business in the forums and contribute! On a side note, I can't decide which to go with...a flower print...or a subtle, yet eligant, solid. What do you think? "Lacking integrity", Kyle Oh my. Oh my, oh my, oh my. A whopping TWO posts and all of a sudden Mr. Texas-A & M - taking-me-five-years-to-get-through-my-Bachelors knows everything there is to know about this site, its contents, and its members. Sticking my nose in other people's business? Hmmm, let me see. Pot. Kettle. Black. Oh, and I'd go with a brown and black paisley muzzle to match the butt plug you currently have shoved up your cinnamon ring. I love you Martha Martha

In reply to: In reply to: Holly s--- Sharpie, Running around in the same old cirle again eh? If you do die at this years fest, can I have your screws? With Spirt, Taylor I think I already have dibs. And can you make sure that your new tools come to my home address? Damn. I feel yucky even talking about this. Last time Sharpie and I joked about death, stuff got weird. Yeah, and this time it acutally almost killed him. Glad you didnt die Shapie, wish there where pictures of you hanging by one tool. :D

My big update since I've last seee you guys....I finally learned to lead!!! Thanks to redpointron, sharpie, and reno for the confidence and pointers they gave me!

Neither of those really work for me :( April 22nd would be great though...I'm going to be down there (giving massages!! to support the Red River Climbing Coalition) so we can do some climbing, and you might be lucky enough to score a time slot on my massage table! The last weekend in April I'm going to JTree!! May 8th, I'll be watching the Kentucky Derby and the 12th I think I'll be down in The New (you and Katie are near there arent you?) So anytime after that I'm free....what about everyone else?

Let's plan on the 22nd of April. :D Damn, you'll be at the New one week before the Rendezvous! Too bad I'm graduating (hopefully) that weekend. Anyone else wanna come to the Red that weekend? Come on, Reno, Sharpie, Ron? Free massages... if not from Lisa, then Katie's pretty awesome as well. Anyone else? Come on, take a weekend, play with us at the Red! Mark

Yup! Chris and I will be. We'll be in town on Monday and staying through Sunday night. We're still trying to figure out if we should drive or fly. If you know of anyone that might want to drive from Michigan or nearby, put them in touch with us. We'll be leaving Friday night and driving straight through, spending a day or two in Denver, then heading to Ouray.

Claude, I'd also like to be in ouray for january and febuary, or somewhere in that area. I'm looking into employment (bar, ski bum, etc) in the area and some place to stay. It's gonna be expensive, I'm sure, but I may be in the area and I'll trade you spanish for english! Send me a pm with your plans. Mark
