A few roads are flooded and we lost power at my house this morning. I really, really, really hope it's back on. The stupid power company has it set up that our neighborhood is the one that goes if there is an overload. Everyone around us has power. Facists! When I was in WI the people just across the road were on a different power company than my house was. Being in the country it wasn't uncommon to be without powa for a few hours after a storm. There were a couple times when I was without powa for over 24 hours. Once a tornado went through and there was a lot of stuff down. The other time I figured the powa company knew that my powa was out and it would get fixed. It turned out I was the only one without powa. I always call the powa company now when I don't have powa. I don't care if everyone else is calling them too.

Thats because I never had to climb with my feet. I just campus my way up things Lucky. Not so lucky. It isn't doing me a damn bit of good now that I have no technique and no strength Due to my body structure, I can hardly campus, and when I do, it is only for a few seconds at best. So you're still lucky. What kind of body structure stops you from using your arms without your feet? A keg instead of a sixpack.

I'm 5'10 and 185 pounds, so hanging from my arms alone is quite difficult. Doable, but not for very many moves in a row.

I think I may be heading into a shaky area at work. I've been told by a little ant that I am going to get a job offer that I shouldn't refuse. With that will invariably be an increase in pay as well as title. Now, I've also been privy to a feeler about a possible prospect in a place I really want to go. I am going to apply for that as well, hoping that the timing of the bit works out well on my end. That would mean a swap from business unit to business unit in an incredibly short amount of time. The only thing is that I need to get me a certification that I know will be easy-cheasy for me to obtain and hope that I'm the most qualified applicant for the jorb. My set up above is to ask a question: How soon after accepting a transfer to another jorb is too soon to transfer to an even better jorb? Essentially, this next move would be a most opportune stepping stone to the next.

Slabs are delicate. I can do burly and juggy. I can also do almost vert slab(see also: low angle dummy domery) like a champ. It's the crimpy shit that doesn't do it for me.
