Anyone done a table traverse? Went on a camp and was dared to do it, The guys seemed to think that a chick wouldn't be able to... HAH! I showed them. Most of the guys are still yet to beat me!

Once I climbed one of those portable climbing walls while it was in the down position. It was a good traverse!

I've done the normal doorframes, school, chimney, etc. But the weirdest is somewhat sacreligious....every sunday I sit in church just dreaming of the climbing and one night w/ just a few friends in the church I tried it out. I got a sick heal hooking traverse working over the alter....the possibilities there are endless, but they are recontructing our church so... But if anyone is ever in northern Ky I'll show you the art of church climbing! [ This Message was edited by: dyno2finish on 2002-08-01 21:37 ]

Let's see, I've climbed fireplaces, houses, and I've tried to climb the building at OSU Mansfield campus. It's not too strange, but it's fun when there's not a lot of actual rock around!

I can relate to the Church climbing There's a great 200 meter traverse about 6' off the ground all the way around the curch near E.Fulton and N.Lafayette in Grand Rapids, done it a million times. The Crux is getting over the door on the Northeast side. The best downtown climb in Kalamazoo is the Presbyterian church next to Bronson park. I've done it a few times and have yet to get the top. I know I'm not the only one doing it too, sometimes I get up a ways and see CHALK MARKS! Who are you! PM me! Kalamazoo is also home to Pharmecia (a really big drug company) and on one of their buildings downtown there are sections of steel bars set vertically, about 4" apart, 6" deep, and 8+ stories tall! Looks like some fun aid climbing with a bunch of cams!

the hallway in my dorm was just wide enough to put your hands on one wall and your feet on the other and climb up that way. baseboards, handrails on stairs, doorjambs...one has to get creative in a dorm. my church has the coolest stone wall right in the front of the sanctuary that is just begging to be climbed...haven't done it yet though.

There's this sweet stone tower in the woods not too far from my home. I'd like to climb to the top, but so far have only gone as high as my instincts will let me with no rope or pad.

SSBN 730 OHIO class submarine Two routes: One in the lower level watchstation in the engineroom. I called it the fly on the wall at 5.11b. Second was during a swim call I slapped the slopers up the turtle back by gripping the underclings as the boat rocked back and forth I inched up and crimped down for when the boat tilted steeper and steeper. Made it when the swell was low but later it spit me off into the ocean for the repeat.

I'm currently very bored, so i'm gonna go try to find some boulder problems on my '90 toyota pickup. If anyone else has the same kinda truck and has found any cool problems let me know.
