Only Germans could give this the requisite tone of seriousness... only question is, where are they climbing, and are they Ossies?

It looks like the Czech Elbsandstone and the accent could be eastern European too. Hard to tell though when you're about to fall off the chair laughing Laugh

It's been all gym for me. Thanks to the temperatures - even if I thought about climbing outside (which I didn't) there'd be nobody to follow me. The concrete wouldn't be worth it anyway.

Anybody know something about climbing on the Phillipines? Especially the Davao area? I'll spend a couple of days there in one of our call centers. Not sure if I can get some off hours, but I'll bring my shoes in hope to find something to boulder... 30° there!!! But it rains most of the time Crazy

Have a nice one!

How could I? Just don't try to trick me into thinking girls would think less about sex than boys do. I call BS, at least the girls I know do it as often - they just talk less... The old fairy tale about the innocent girls - muhaa! Laugh

Look at the color of that thing, I love blue. Its color of hope ( Yeah, I was hoping to place some pro, soon) and Love ( I love good placed screw ).
100% better than Bouldering Wink

hy guys (and gals), long time no see, eh?Tongue

i have had quite a lot of things happening so this site was kindof on the sidetrack for a while. exams (thank god im done with them until the summer), some love troubles, meeting some new interesting ppl, climbing...

but the last news is that my cat has come down with malign lymphoma and so probably doesnt have much time left. i'm dealing with it quite ok, sice he is pretty old and probably wouldnt last that long anyway (hes 16). and since he also has cat aids (damn stdsTongue) the vet is unsure how hes going to hanlde chemo (thomas, your thoughts on this??).

plus i was pretty ill for the last week or so. first we thought that it was a simple streptococ angina, then it turned out that it was an abscess on one of my tonsils so we changed the antibiotics and now im pretty much fine, but still weak as a kitten (a few days at 39C will do that to you) and luckily it didnt need to be operated (i just hate hospitals).

so what have you been up to?

We had a FAST ice climbing trip with ja_nina and friend to Austria. Little short trip. Actually it was 23:58 from Carlsbad, 600km driving to Kaunertal, 300+ metres of climbing (near) vertical ice, rappel down in dark and heavy snowfall (without headlamp´s ) and driving back 600km to CZ and hit the door in 01:58 morning. That wasnˇt a plan be so quick, but I know how the Huber´s brothers feel after speeding The Nose. Wink
Now some plastic squeezing and looking for first ascent, but it looks hard and mossy.
So actually nothing new.

UA- do You have Your new shiny Haulbag already ?Wink

OK, guess it's up to me to introduce a new subject.

Hope you got out yesterday while weather was good, seems to suck today.

Speaking of which, for those of you who aren't too hardcore to boulder when it's warm, I'm now based in Paris, so up for weekend trips starting mid April after back from travels.

I'll be in Utah for three weeks starting Mar 15.
