I'd love to make it down, but have to pencil it in for now. Starting a new job in April and not sure about the $$. That said, I'll be gearing up for the Rumney Gathering in June ...

We'll be there J-ung!!! Can't wait! Wes- Craig and I will definitely be making some trips to the good ole NRG this spring. The way I feel about it is this - I LOVE the Red, totally, but the New will always be home. It's where I learned to rock climb! So anytime you wanna go, we'll totally go too and crank some some NRG sandstone with ya!

Noell, sounds cool for sure. I am heading to the creek for a couple weeks, but maybe could meet you all there one weekend in April. A nice party for sure. Looks to be every bit as good, if not better, then the Lander climbers fest.

Hell yes, this will be the best thing since... well this will be the best thing ever! (Yeah, even better than sliced bread, and even better than last year!) You better believe I'll be there! Mark P.S. I'll be there from Friday morning until the next Saturday, one full week of NRG lovin' before I head down to Brevard for a dirtbag summer filled with teaching young'uns how to climb and long evenings of aid solo action on the north side of Looking Glass.

In reply to: In reply to: For those that have never been to Roger's, could someone please post driving directions from 19. Thanks! -DD- Turn right into Fayetteville on 16. Go through downtown. Swerve left at Sherrie's Beer Store onto Gateway Road. Pass a ridge, two hollers and one more shout, now, turn left when you see a small sign for Kaymoor No. 1. Go until you see a bunch of hippies with wierd muscley forearms and cool sunglasses. Pull up and offer them beer. They will then do any disgusting act you prefer. Or if you want to get rid of them scream: "Drop your backpacks, I'm a DEA agent!". They'll avoid you like an ice climber avoids the library. UB Oh. Right you are. Well, the Rocky Top Retreat will be a bit quieter if you care about such things.

Hey folks, here's a link to the latest NRAC newsletter. Lots of good Rendezvous info there. Highlights: Carpool! We more than maxed out the Burnwood parking last year, so this year we're locking the gates once the lot fills up. We don't necessarily wanna, but we have to give a little to the NPS to get a little. Donate! We don't charge an entrance fee to the NRR, but the biggest reason we have it is to reaise money for anchor and old bolt replacement! This is one of the few charities that you'll ever donate to and follow up by using what you helped support the very next day. Please dig deep! Silent Auction! Raffles! Donations! OK, you get the point... More clinics! Brittany Griffith, Craig Luebben, Timmy O'Neill and more will be lending their time. Live Music! Local blues band, Sockmonkey and RRG rapper, O-dub will rock the hizzo Saturday night. Recycling! We're a little greener every year. Keep an eye out for recycling containers!
