He did nothing to provoke them. the mother was left watching. the son apparently wasn't there. Jesus. Thats Fucked. Sometimes there is nothing you can do. Someone just decides they are going to hurt you and there is no way to know when that is or why. So I'm learning more and more about the violence here. It's a lot less of "bad people doing bad things" than you'd think. When people grow up in a violent atmosphere they end up doing things that they wouldn't otherwise do, particularly when there's pressure from "above" to do things for people who are calling the shots. I keep thinking back to Cidade de Deus and remembering all the normal people who simply got caught up in the war, and ended up doing things as a result of being in the moment. Many of them weren't bad people, and many didn't set out to be murderers; they were simply living the way they knew how to and doing what everyone else was doing. Taking a life isn't a moral thing as much as it is what happens. It's a cold way of thinking about it at first, until you think more and realize that it's not the person as much as it is the system. The cops didn't find the dude last night as far as I could tell.

I'm excited about the Pomegranate addition and am going to search out another fruit tree this weekend to add some more variety. The Lemon and Bay leaf came with the property and are thriving trees; everything else is mine. So many food options! Awesome! I'll only have a small patio at the place Matt and I are moving into, but it will at least get more sunlight than my current patio. Hoping I can get some of my current plants to come back and make get at least a good herb garden going You need to internet search small gardens. If you have the time and gumption to engineer it, you can easily make a stacked planter system that you can get a high yield out of. Hanging tomato planter. Potted garden is a good idea too. If you're willing to sacrifice some space you can grow a bunch of stuff. Your gardening tips: My thread. Keep them the fuck out of it. It's not your thread... It's my pc++ If you don't want to read it... *scroll scroll scroll* ... h) Maybe you should find a hobby
