Well, mine finally did the other day and it turns out the information Mammut had given me on the Eternity was not really correct. The Eternity has a smaller bobbin count and as a result is nothing like the SuperSafe. In fact, it handles like an anti-Supersafe with a real limp, sloppy feel and a loose sheath - pretty much everything I dislike in a rope. It has none of the Supersafe's "compact" and "stiff" feel.
I ended up declining on it and someone else jumped on it. In the mean time I had purchased a Metolius Monster 9.8 which does handle and feel pretty much spot on for a skinny Supersafe, has high fall, count and a burly sheath and is the rope I'd recommend instead.

also, i'd like to see a new piece of pro that could protect obtuse pockets. I'm thinking it would be about the shape of a drywall anchor, or like a star-fangled nut [biking], if you're not familiar with either of those, it'd be like a bunch of spikes that open out and would retract together when racking or something.
Maybe a good liquid chalk too.
