I'm from VA and I'll be in attendance and hopefully volunteering. I sent an email yesterday, but I haven't heard anything back. Being only 2 hours away, it's almost like I'm a local.

No worries man, I'm sure you're on the list. As far away as it may sound, we've really got a lot on our plates. Any suggestions for new stuff this year at the rendezvous, or stuff you didn't like last year etc?

I wish I was there in previous years so I would know a little more. I'm still a NRR virgin. I was just looking at clinics, and would it be possible trad or anchoring clinics? If I score a camera, I might be jumping aboard for your clinic.

a hot chicks room and a bucket of truth would be great additions Episode one Season one: http://www.answers.com/...ght-citizens-brigade In actuality, I thought things were great last year. I loved the clinics, and I would love to have more of them. That is dependent on the volunteers though. I will let you know if I think of any more. Glad to see that some of the quiet states are checking this thread. I know there will be plenty in attendence. It will be good to see everyone again.

One thing that we're putting together is a photo gallery auction. We're getting a whole bunch of photos for silent auction......When I heard about one of the prints we were getting, I shutter at how much I'll be willing to spend

A while back someone suggested that we write our user names on our foreheads to let each other know about the RC.com users. I am all for the attention getting methods, but how about just on the cups? Dan, is it possible to make a box of sharpies available at some table? I suggest a box because pens have an uncanny ability to lose themselves at big events, and hopefully the whole box won't get lost over 3 days. So, then everyone can grab a beer and write their name on their beer. I would probably use microbarn anyways. Lots of people have my name. Dan

What do you think about name tags? All ideas, of course, have to go through committee, but I can bring stuff up at the meetings. -Dan

nametags would work too, but I think people would be more likely to do it with their beer cup besides, that is another thing that has to be purchased

yea, I also realized that I am an idiot. If the nametags are present, then people could use EITHER the tags or the beer cup method.

I would like to go to this event, but I won't be able to swing the whole weekend. I'm hoping to get my hubby to come with his camera and we can leave the kids in Kinder Camp while we wander around and watch the activities. Where would be the best place to park for this? And what would be the best activities to watch on Saturday? God Bless, mik

For photos and lots of people, check out the bouldering comp down at Hawk's Nest. I'm not sure how parking will be arranged this year, but most of the activities are in the evening at Burnwood.

Dan - I've got Thursday & Friday off (as well as the rest of the weekend) ... any chance you've got a similar schedule? (the office i'm working at today doesn't like my email... so public forum posting it is! )

Maybe we'll have a "Rapelling" compeition... You could always skip the comp and join the photo clinic :). Im actually curious to see who will infact skip the comp for the clinic. -Danno
