Yep was in the house epok. HUGE bang. Stress levels are pretty high dealing with getting everything replaced. Sucks.

A tree feel on the powerlines going into my parent's house a few years ago with similar results (no surge protector). It seemed pretty random what was totally blown, and what wasn't (I think the fridge and the TV were okay, but the portable phones and computer were fried).
I know I am GU;ing cuz I explained to you in person. I am guesstimating the claim to be over $10g's at the moment.
