So do I, and I don't think that in and of itself counts for much in the way of climbing experience. I guess it depends on what they were and what else you've done. After all, there are several 20,000+ ft peaks that are walk-ups. Still, nobody has ever admitted to seeing you climb anything! At least I believe that USN is capable of climbing...even if he acts noobish.

It's not his shaky grasp of sarcasm that's at issue. It's the fact that he just can't grasp the concept that being able to climb hard stuff doesn't make him an expert about all things climbing-related, which leads to him continually spouting off as a self-proclaimed expert about things he clearly has only a passing familiarity with. Then when he's called out on it he gets all pissy, which is particularly amusing to some of us, and likely the reason it keeps happening.

I never said I was a climber nor I ever told about hauling a 450 lbs pig. in fact, I rather say nothing and let other be the judge of it but when i say something that i have done or know, i do mean it. our commando boy is in to every topic. from bolting to drilling to rope work to this and that. last thing i want to hear him talking about doing head gasket job on Toyota corrola.

MS or USNAVY
Sorry dudes, soloing is not an option and you need to have a partner to get off the other side of the island.
Under the terms of the problem, both USN and Majid are available to climb.

FWIW, I'm having trouble reconciling that with both his posts and his tenancy to lash out at anyone who calls him on his BS, both in thread and over PM. I suggest you go back through a bunch of old threads he commented in and see for yourself.
On a similar note, "a little quiet" doesn't really jive too well with random FB message I got from him last night ranting about me being old enough to be his father and him coming out east to onsight all my projects. Or something like that. Kinda hard to follow what he was talking about. Note to USN: Don't drink and FB
