I'm a med student (taking Step 1 in a week)

You poor bastard. Good luck. When I took step 1, I was drunk by the time we got out of the parking lot.

I spent the rest of the evening drinking more and packing for Yosemite. I really wish I had been sober enough to remember my bivy sack.

I hope you have sometime off and aren't entering the suck that is MS3 right away.

I have about a week off- we're going up to visit friends in ME and ride, water ski, and waterski...

While these last 2 months haven't been fun by any stretch, I have a decent routine down and am actually climbing more now than in a while. I get up early, climb at the local crag (ok, so its a shitty crag in DC, its what I got!) for 1.5 hrs, and am home and studying by 9:00. Rest of the day is pretty shitty!

And though I've been told many times all about 3rd year, I gotta say, I'm excited. I've been in the classroom for SO long now (2 years doing part-time school doing pre-reqs, 1 yr doing a MS in physiology, 2 yrs med school) I'm beyond ready to no longer have a seat that knows my ass much better than anything should!
