I'd like to buy some of the Aliens at the 30% discount. Unfortunately I do not seem to be able to get the online ordering system at TradRack to honor it.
When I enter the Coupon Code I see no change in my order price?
I do not neccessarily trust that the 30% will be honored by simply adding a comment, I'd like to be assured my credit card is only charged the correct amount, not charged a full amount and then credited later, if ever.
Is there a way to have the coupon code affect the price at the point of sale?
Am I missing something?

I had the same problem. I just went ahead with the order though, trusting them to honor it. I'll let you know how it goes.
I had difficulties with the order interface. I never got to any order confirmation page, and when I checked my order history, It had placed a duplicate!

I had the same problem trying to order aliens. I did get to the confirmation page and got this error:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /mnt/web_f/d08/s32/b021a067/www/checkout_confirmation.php on line 393
The coupon code was not reflected on the order confirmation page. Maybe the PHP error is responsible for the problem :?: :?
I bailed on the order until I know the coupon code is going to be honored.

Honor the coupon???? The guys at tradrack.com are cool, I have never had a problem. When their server went down a few days ago, there was a code for a discount to use just because of the down time. I do not think they are going to give anyone trouble, they are good people

Well, I'm glad you have had good experiences with TradRack. Word of mouth is definitely a good plus. But certainly you can understand my hestitation to purchase something at full price while hoping to have a discount retroactively honored. Perhaps you've always been lucky, but most of the "rebates" and other gimmicks I've seen have been rip-offs. I'm not suggesting the this is one of those rip-offs, just stating that I'm not comfortable purchasing something and trusting the vendor to honor an Coupon placed on RC.com, I'd like to see it reflected in the sales price at the point of sale, otherwise I'm not buying.

I've ordered from them before and had no problem. They've seemed cool and I appreciate their honesty with why they are offering the 30% off of the aliens. I would just like the discount reflected in my order total before I actually confirm the order and payment. It just saves alot of hassle later on if there is an accidental mix up. No offense was meant towards the guys at tradrack.com.

Coupon is fixed: Enter it in and you will see the total before you finish.
Sorry about the bug, you would think a bunch of climbers running a shop would be professional enough to make sure everything was debugged all of the time, but that isn't always the case. Well, sometimes we don't know there are bugs until people tell us. We are constantly uploading new upgrades to the security and to help us with search engine ranking, but sometimes the new upgrades don't communicate well with the original skeleton.
I just ran a complete transaction through myself to check every part of it with my own card and everything worked fine (after fixing it of course), creating a new profile, to finishing and order confirmation. If it does kick you out for some reason, please let us know, but if it does all of your information should already be saved and you can just log in with the email address and password you created. I know it sucks to enter in all that information, try doing it everyday to test the store.

We might be good people, but when you transfer the responsibility from the computer to people, people make mistakes and forget. Of course we would instantly refund the money if we realized we made a mistake, but the hassle is annoying for you and for us. This came sooner than expected, but in one hour from when this post was posted that coupon will no longer work and the sale will be ended. We still have plenty in stock, we have just reached the amount that was needed for us to move.

I hate mucking up the hot deals thread but the guys at tradrack are awesome! Just like he said, put the coupon code in the comments box and they'll deduct it. There was a little glitch in their site when I ordered something and they totally took care of me. When I order stuff online, I look there first.
