I just recently moved close to Louisville from WK and I only have one partner in the area. If anyone is interested in climbing outside or inside let me know. I have been heading up to Hesters to climb inside about twice a week and if you are from the area you know the last five months have not been weather permitting. (hit the red twice thats it) Give me a shout if you are interested, I would head to rocksport if anyone wants though it is fuirther for me kelsey k_o_daniel@hotmail.com odanielkelsey@yahoo.com

OK maybe I should re-phrase this... Who goes to rocksport? Do you climb rope? Do you climb outside? If you have answered yes to these questions please reply. I have been going to hesters in Louisville. Only a few people from there climb rope. I would like to meet some new partners is rocksport the place to do that?

I don't live in Louisville now, but I climbed at Rocksport for years and worked there for a bit as well. Rocksport is definitely where you will find the people that have been climbing longer and go to the Red to climb routes on weekends. Check it out, the owner is a good guy, and the lead cave is great. I prefer Hester's for bouldering, but the overall level of climbing experience is much higher at Rocksport.

i know this dude who lives in louisville. he's a good dude, and i know for sure he'll roll with you to rocksport, or hesters, and also where you could do some urban trad routes on this old carved block bridge. but he works bankers hours, so you'd have to compare schedules. i'm sure he's down for one or two nights a week.

finding people in louisville is most easily done on redriverclimbing.com. i lived down there from august to January and i know that there were a couple of decent months within the past five (october and December were great). anyhow, i'll be moving back down there in mid-May. by the way, if anyone in Louisville has a room they want to rent out to me from Mid-May to late-August let me know. i'm pretty easy to live with and not home that much, especially on the weekends. trying to find a cheap place (~$200 a month)
