Little River Canyon - if you can climb 11 and up.
I guess Sandrock for easier grades?

War Eagle, tamcwh! (never thought I'd post that saying on this site) I'm an Auburn man myself...though I moved to Alaska a several years ago and haven't looked back...yeah, Little River Canyon is a good one. There are some places in northern AL. I can't think of them though, let me research and I'll post again. You should click on "routes", then Alabama on this site. I think there's like 60 or so routes posted...more in a bit.

does anyone know of a sport climbing area any closer to B'ham than Sandrock? There is a ton of rock around B'ham but the only climbing area are Palisades (TR and trad), Horse Pens and Boulderfields.

If you want something closer to auburn then check out cherokee bluffs or smith mountain. I think there are directions in the routes section. Or you can message me if you want to come out sometime.
