In reply to: I re-tied it on lead a few pitches earlier when the knot came undone as I weighted it (eee, watch those!)...  How did you get the webbing back if it came undone as you weighted it? (I'm picture it falling, and you falling)

Someday (soon I hope), I will be in the valley, getting ready for my first wall. My hats off to everyone that has done a wall. I hope to join the ranks this spring.

The last anchor on Mescalito. Hanging at the belay waiting for you Partner to fix a line to a tree to pull the bags up after 5 days on the wall. 45 min. of hanging their all that air below your Ass, being able to touch flat ground but not being able to due anything about it. Thats Torture!

In reply to: You guys keep one tidy bivi! yeah, well wht we lack in speed points we make up in style points, Martha Stewart would be prowd. Hey that hookin' pitch is the last of Aurora before it joins T Trip right? Funny about the hook coming untied, that happened to me on my first El Cap route And I took the most awkward upsidown pendulum fall ever. Fucked up my shoulder and lost all of the hooks aslo. They were all clipped into the webbing of the hook I jumped on, now I allways take one off at a time for that reason. your pics are awesome man. How did you get that one of your wife on the Muir, lower off the belay?

Well, this aint El Cap, and that aint no DEElux ledge neither. You guys do travel in style. This is a BAT (basically absurd technology) tent. I slept surprisingly sound but its damn near impossible to get the sleeping bag up around your shoulders...... http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=50042
