Hey, I was just wondering if there were any climbers in the Virginia Tech area over the summer? Everyone else I know that climbs is going home for the summer....

fyi - I think most people who see the topic of your post are going to assume VT= Vermont.

But, maybe the small audience you're actually trying to reach will know what you're talking about

In fact, I read it as Virginia Tech, then as the thread was opening, Vermont, then lo and behold, it was Virginia Tech.

/plans on being around during the summer

Well, is there any way I can change the title for one? Also.. another question, Is there anyone who does whitewater kayaking staying around? I'm not too good, but I can read water and roll alright and really want to get better this summer... I've got a kayak and all my gear, but I'm not too keen on going on the new river for the first time alone.

Heh, I'm actually going to start kayaking this summer as well. I'll be picking up my gear as soon as I get in touch with my dad.

I paddle and know many local creek runs. If you can handle hanging with an old sandbagger. :wink:

I read VT as Virginia Tech, maybe thats because I live here. I'll be here all summer it you don't mind climbing with a noob.

i'm gonna be in blacksburg for the summer, also looking for some climbing partners. pretty much a beginner but i really want to get out more. let me know if anyone is going anywhere this summer

count me in too for looking for climbing partners. i'm going to the new and/or summersville lake this weekend with my boyfriend, if anyone's interested. we'll probably just go for the day on saturday and maybe sunday too.
