I'm planning a trip to the Glen and wondered if anyone could give me some help. Our first trip to this great bouldering area was a blast. Unfortunately, the camping experience was pretty boring. We ended up on the main tourist strip in Niagara Falls, with a freight train passing by every hour. I'm looking for something we can backpack into possibly and pitch a couple tents. If their isn't anything like that maybe just a camping park more away from the main drag. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any good 5.8-5.10 top roping nearby, or headed back towards Windsor? Thanks, Mike

Please dont camp IN the glen as it endangers access. Check this BB for links to camping around the glen. The parks commission is even more sensitive on people camping and partying in the glen than climbing. It is actually one reason climbers don't have more access problems so please don't let them connect climbers to these problems or we become parks enemy #1. http://www.glenbouldering.com/msg-read.php3?ALL+309 edit:guess who forgot to add the link [ This Message was edited by: darkside on 2002-07-09 16:39 ]
