what are some thoughts about doing pullups while dealing with jacked up tendons? I've really been thinking about doing some on theh jugs on the hangboard...I guess i could and would tape up, just to be safe...

that depends on what tendons are giving you trouble. Also taping does not really provide all that much support, so its not going to help.

Rest a few days. You get stronger by resting between training sessions, not by continuously pushing it to the point of damaging your tendons. I bet if you take 2-3 days completely off and just stretch your wrists and fingers you'll notice a significant gain in your strength.

I strained a flexor tendon, then took 10 complete days off climbing...and 5 weeks later I reinjured it. My advice? Don't put any load on your tendons for at least 6 weeks.
