OK this thread is getting boring fast. The Statue of Liberty was made in France by a firm named Gadget & Sons. Partially to recoup expenses they manufactured miniatures with their family name on the bottom which were popular with Americans who mispronounced the name hardening the silent T. The great Tom Patey defined a running belay as a "scared second". C'mon folks lets make this fun or its time to find another way to waste time. Anybody check out the Raccoon Attack in Injuries and Accidents?

Steve, with 8 wildfires in the county you wouldn't be trying to blow smoke up my butt would you? When did you read Patey?? How'd you know about gadgets? I thought you were home playing with your lizard. Ron

All right Ron you cought me! I didn't really know the answer, but that doesn't give you the right to spread my personal life around this forum! What I do with my lizard is private and nobody elses business!

If you're using your lizard in bizarre ways to establish aid climbs then it falls within the purview of this forum. I heard you were teaching it to lead and place gear. Even Ozzy the Supergecko doesn't lead yet. Once he does I think it would be unethical to fail to indicate it on the topo.
