For the sake of conversation, I’ll throw out “12 Inches of Snow”…White, Canadian rapper with a Jamaican accent…songs like “Informer”…

Oh, bad memories. There was a Greek kid in my class in grades 4 and 5 who used to sing Snow and Shaggy songs all the time.

I don't really have anything that embarrasses me. I have a girly j-pop cd that I found in a hostel in Toronto. 'Cocco' sits in my iPod artists list between Choking Victim and Face to Face, and really doesn't really fit in with anything else I listen to, but I like her songs.

Thin Lizzy "Whiskey in the Jar" or something like that. I loved that song.

Everclear's So Much for the Afterglow goes on here posthumously (that one was so lame I sold it to Bookman's)

heh. bookman's. that brings back memories. summer before my junior year in high school i spent WAYYYY too many hours in there searching through their old vinyl, and used fiction. good times, good times.

as far as my embarrassing cd's go. i STILL own and listen to Living Colour, Vivid. "I'M A CULT OF PERSONAAALITYYYYYYY!11"

The CD single to Meredith Brooks' "b----"

Should I be embarrassed too? Or should I be more embarrassed that I still listen to it...

Well, then, I'm embarrassed to admit that I saw her in concert. At Lilith Fair, no less.

Well, it might have been at the Michigan Womyn's Festival, I can't remember for sure. I was in a different place back then, man.

I once gave a panhandler $2.

He was impressed, so he gave me an Aerosmith CD.

I shouldn't have taken it, as it was probably stolen.

I still haven't listened to it though.

EDIT: good thing you didn't ask about vinyl :)

and shortfatoldguy, I am sorry to say that I still have not scored the coveted PhD. two years of funding left, and a dissertation to finish.

Shaky, those last two posts of yours had me wiping spit off the screen. Elvez's was a nice touch too.

Yeah, I had Kris Kross, but that's nothing compared to some of the smack in here.

Although, I did have a roommate in college (a dude) who sang Jewel in the shower. His favorite was "hands"
