Hey Nate-

I ve moved this to the Gear Heads forum which is dedicated to discussion about gear (suggestions and questions is for info about the site) but I am still not sure what kind of responses you are looking for.

To make the most of starting out climbing, you will want to get a harness and shoes.

Take a browse through our Gear Guide to read some reviews and to get an idea of prices etc.

Then support some of our advertisers who are in retail to purchase the products at the best prices.

Once you have more experience and start hanging around other climbers you'll learn where to go from there and what piece to progress onto.

Hope this helps - and rock on,

Dan

I already have some shoes and a harness but i still need some quick links, a rope, and maybe a few more biners. so if anybody has any of that and dont need/use it, and is willing to get rid of it, tell me and ill take a look.

Thanks, Nate
