We are planning a week long trip to Red Rocks at Easter (mid April this year). Will temperatures be too hot by then or still OK?

Hello

I was out RR, last Easter...March, it was a little to cold. So this yr...I was hopping it would be a little warmer, in April. I'll be there from the 11th to the 25th, cross ur finger's and hope for the best...

It has been in the upper 60's and lower 70's for the last few weeks. The Gallery and other sunny crags are a bit warm for my liking, but luckily there are tons of areas to choose from. It isn't hard to find shade...

ya Josh,
sounds good. I should have 6, 8 peoples coming and going. I don't think I can keep up with the English drinkers though...give it my best. I'll be in the camp ground...probably the outer loop, in the back...cheers

I went out there last year over spring break in the latter part of March.. and it was relatively warm most of the time. I don't think you'll have any trouble with cold temperatures (40 or below), but I'd bring a long sleeve shirt just in case.
And a 30 bag will do just fine, I was sweating using my 30 bag last year.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Here's another question, last time we were there in November we also went to JT for a couple of days. Do people think its worth the drive for 2 days in April? We could use the driving days as rest days....
