Sorry, accidently posted it in the wrong place. Moved this post to West Cost. I really want to do more outdoors around bay area on weekends and start learning lead/mutlipitch. I can't afford a private instructor, but I can afford gas. I only have top rope gears. I am at 5.8/.9 level. So if you don't mind hanging out with a newbie, let me know.

I may be interested in meeting you and letting you tag along with my group that I climb with. They usually aren't too receptive to climbing with strangers but screw 'em, I can show you a few things. You can belay, right??? We usually climb at Castle Rock or Summit Rock on the weekends. If you're interested e-mail me at spratico@euphonix.com You don't need to pay for gas, I can just meet you at the climb and we can go from there. Do you know how to get to Castle Rock State Park on Skylkine blvd.?
