Nice work Adam. I've also noticed some fresh paintball marks all over Lieback rock...fuckers. Now the holds are all gummed up.

What little douches. I'd love to see some big burly dirtbag pick em up by the collar and scare em a little. Make them cry and such. Can you just hear it? "I'm sorry sir," they'd blubber between gulps of snot.

I sent the pix to the Sheriff that day, but haven't heard back. I'll e-mail and/or call him tomorrow to try to get an update. I also e-mailed West Hills High School last Friday. The principal responded Monday and said that at a glance, he thought he might be able to help and would pass on any info to the Sheriff contact I provided. I'll try to find out more and pass on an update.

Glad you caught the little buggers. For removing the paint, have you tried hair spray? A couple of years ago I removed a fair bit of Graffiti from cement and brick using hair spray, a rag and a lot of elbow grease. Just spray the hair spray on the paint, wait a few minutes and them rub with the rag as hard as you can. Repeat until the paint is gone.

Print off some "Most Wanted Taggers" posters of these guys mugs, staple them to sticks or what have you, and stick em on a few of the approach trails to the boulders. "Have you seen these taggers?" DMT

a couple quick tips. Goof Off® brand Graffiti Remover works great with a nylon bristle brush. I bought both at Lowes for under $10 bucks. Do not use a pressure washer. I found out the hard way on a brick wall. (sorry) If you take pictures of the Tags and taggers and put up posters where you removed the Tag promising a Reward for any information leading to the arrest of the taggers responsible it works as a great deterrent. I still like what mayor of las vegas suggested. CUT OFF THEIR FINGERS

In Italy when they keep a record of all the tags and tags styles, that are very peculiar and different, when they catch a tagger they can track back all the ones he/she did and make them clean up the mess. That is usually the alternative to a pretty big fine. But I don't believe they can go to prison for tagging.
In reply to: Good call... I'm sending them an e-mail right now.
