Hey, i'll be in squamish from June 9th to June 15th-ish. I'm wondering what the system is at the Grand Wall campground. Do I just show up, or do you need a reservation? Is there anywhere in the area that you can camp for free that's not too sketchy?

no reservations, but I've never had trouble finding a spot (had to share once on a long weekend, but that was no biggie). there are options for stealth camping, but IMHO they're not worth the hassle. The psyche ledge(base of the chief) camping is cheap and pretty good. Note that as of this weekend there's a boil water advisory for the stream water used at the site, so take extra water containers for filling in town if it's still in effect when you arrive. there's a tap outside the 7-11 that's convenient for fillups.

Thanks. I've tried searching around on the Internet for the location, but haven't found anything. How do I find this place? any other campground recommendations? It's also been a few years since i was last in squamish, can anyone remind me if this is within biking distance of squamish? Thanks!
