jcrew,
I was planning on driving up to the Sierra this Friday-Sunday. I had hoped to do the east face of Middle Pal, but my partners bailed on me and I don't really want to solo it. I'm not the strongest climber in the world, and was just planning on doing something scrambly. However I've seconded multipitch climbs at Tahquitz in the 5.7-5.8 range, although that would probably be too stiff for me for a long alpine route. I can definitely at least offer you a ride and would love to climb some class 4/easy 5 with you. NE arete of Bear Creek Spire?
