These are size 40.5 or US Mens 8, brand new in box. I bought them originally for $330, currently retailing for $220 online (see http://neice.com/...oduct_Code=TrangoIce) I bought two sizes of these boots a few years ago, thinking I'd return the pair that didn't fit correctly. Unfortunately, I neglected to return the extra pair in time and just let them sit in the box in the basement. Ouch. But it is time to pass them on. They really are *awesome* boots...I love my other pair. They are super lightweight, and perfect for ice, mixed climbing, and lower 48 mountaineering. With a medium amount of insulation, they are exactly the right climbing boot for the Sierras or Rockies. http://neice.com/...000002/trangoIce.jpg From the marketing literature: It features an abrasion resistant Keprotec upper, an innovative multidirectional hinge in.3D Flex system that allows great flexibility of the ankle, made in waterproof FlexTec, a small incorporated gaiter in elastic and water repellent Schoeller-Dynamic. American research has been used for development of the insulated lining: Absolute Aluminia. The lacing system is derived from climbing shoe technology. Upper: Schoeller-Keprotec + Flextec Reinforcements: water repellent Lorica Lining: insulating Absolute Aluminia Insole: insulating Ibi-Thermo 9 mm Midsole: 4-5 mm HP 3 suitable for crampons Sole: Vibram with antishock insert Weight: 1.500 gr. per pair (3lbs 8oz) As I said, these boots are brand new, with all the original materials and literature and what-have-you. $75 obo + shipping. PM or call me if interested, (415) 613-5809. -brian
