I shall be in the area the last few days of Sept. Am keen to check out this "fantastic" bouldering area. Any tips? Are car breaks in a problem? Anything....!? Worth even stopping at on my way to Boulder from Manitoba? thx.

Outsider's view: If you need to stop the car and get out to stretch, it's worth a few hours. If you have a partner, climbing at Rushmore or the Needles would be better. But if you're keen on bouldering, Nemo is fun. Finding the car pullout was the trick for us, but once we found the right area you don't need a guide. Just walk away from the road skirting the boulder formation (I think South, maybe not-- just walk away from Nemo Road up the hill toward the boulders and then along the right side until you get to the opposite side). Then all along that side there are obvious lines and chalk on the more popular ones. Hopefully you can find someone who knows the area, but again, it's not necessary. I have directions to Nemo written in the cover of my Rushmore guidebook. PM me if you want them. I don't have them with me currently at work.
