I once climbed with two girls named Ashley. It got a little confusing so we called one "Hard-Core" and one "Soft-Core." I don't think soft-core ever appreciated it, but hard-core enjoyed the nickname.

One of my climbing partners erned the name "Mr. Runout"
Since then we've desided that it's been down graded to "Mr. Kinda Runout"
I think it extends from the fact that his trad rack is little more than what many people take on an Alpine ridge.

I've been called the '200 pound monster' by some, PinBasher by others, but thus far nothing has really stuck. Some of them thankfully have not stuck. :tinfoilhat:

I get Couchmaster occasionally cause I'll disappear into a world of business and family, pop up a few months later and send something off that couch that I should have no business being on.

That has disappated somewhat as I age though.

I find that when I climb with others whom I've met online, I often wind up using their online name for them.

Powderhound becomes "hound" for instance.

Nothing as humorous as some of these though, some of these are just damn funny.

I have been called pansy boy for not trying a problem because it was too humid and there was really no way to grip the bad sloping arete. I ended up trying it after the ridicule, and bruised my ass.

My brother called me Flash when we first started climbing. That's how I ended up with my RC.com handle.

We call this guy Tank because that's the way he climbs.

One of my bigger partners (6'4, 190lb) is always calling me "little F****er, not sure if its a real nickname though.
But I have earned "Crack Whore" simply because I love crack climbing a little too much.

I have one fiend I call "Cap Calves" because when hes on the rock his calves look like Captain Americas.

One of my partners is refered to as "Safety Dan" because he is probably the most cautious climbers I know. Another is refered to as "Big Boy" because of a particular incident where another climber commented that he "climbs pretty well for a big boy".

Sadly, I have no nickname. None that I'm aware of anyway.
