My girlfriend and I will have a couch/shower that is always welcome to climbers on their way through. Pa sucks for rope climbing, but seasonal bouldering is top notch (especially SE) if you are passing through between the fall and spring. We are right near Philly if you are so inclined.

Upenn, which is my top choice by a ways, and i have a pretty reasonable chance of getting into. But if i dont get in there, i'm not 100% sure i want to go to grad school immediately, so we shall see.

UPenn is good. My friend runs a small comp at the wall in their rec center. Some of the climbers there are pretty clueless though. I suppose that is no problem of mine though.

Hey guys, I decided to post the actual blog of the trip in the (surprise) trip reports forum. first post is up, in case anybody is bored. more to follow. Thanks for all the offers so far of climbing partners and places to crash! If you want to still post in this thread, please do! but please post "check your PMs" or somethign if you just want to message me. the way the messages are here, its really hard to go back and find burried ones unless you have both a specific date and username to look for. and a couple times already i've been thinking that somebody messaged me but i coudlnt for the life of me find it. anywas, hope everyone has a happy new year! -cla
