At the moment the Potrero Chico guidebook is available only upon arrival here, but fear not, you will soon have a choice of two new guidebooks which will be available online: Dane Bass is working on a completely new book which should be available soon, and my Potrero Chico Select which will be on the market by Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for ordering info.

Potrero Select, the new guidebook by Magic Ed, will be arriving from the printer this Friday (Nov. 17, 2006). You can order it online, but I think the Rules prohibit me from advertising. So if you want a copy, contact me and I will forward you a link to our online store. We are taking pre-orders, so you could order it now and get one of the first printing.

I hear that Dane's new guide book [The Whole Enchilada-A Climber's Guide to Potrero Chico] will be rolling off the presses soon. It covers over 500 routes in Potrero Chico. For more info check out WWW.potrerokrew.com

Magic Ed's guide Potrero Select is off the press now and ready for purchase. There are over 350 routes in there. How many can you climb, anyway? If you check our storefront you can find it for sale at https://orders.climbingcentral.com/. If you are headed down there, Ed will have a supply of books at the crag by Thanksgiving. It is in English.

Just returned from Potrero Chico and bought Dane's guidebook while I was down there - it was released this past Tuesday. It's excellent, around 50 pages of general info to start with and then tons of detailed route descriptions and some route pictures as well. Makes it much easier to find what you're trying to climb. He's selling it from his website: http://www.potrerokrew.com/contact.htm
