Hi,
I'm going to be in Mississauga for two weeks starting March 5, and I'm looking for a place to climb!!

I've climbed at Joe Rockheads before, but I was looking for something closer to where I'll be staying. I've seen a few mentions of Clarkson Rock, but has anyone ever climbed there? Does it still exist? I can't find any other info.

Thanks

jnnfr from CEC? As far as I know there is no gyms in Mississauge and Rockheads is probobly the closest gym to you. I'm not sure if it'd be the easiest gym to get to if you're using public transportation. But maybe I could take the effort to head into Toronto for the day while you're in town and I could pick you up on the way and head to another gym.

Hi,
Yes it is me from CEC!
I would hate for you to make the trip into Toronto just to drive me to the gym!! I've taken the TTC to Joe Rockhead's before, so I'd have no trouble getting there again, but I really appreciate the offer!!! If you are already planning on being in the city though, I wouldn't mind the company. Just don't go out of your way for me!!!!

There was a group of us that used to go into TO a couple of time a winter and visit a gym there. If it was one such weekend it'd be no problems for you to come along. No promises of course, but I will say that it would be cool to meet and hang out with someone else from Nove Scotia.

Hi J,

I live in Oakville, but I travel into Toronto to climb at the gyms. I could pick you up on my drive in. I also own a Yoga studio on the Mississauga/Oakville border, so if you wanna strech too...

Call me 416-707-3874
Here is my Studio www.mokshayogaoakville.com

Take care,

Colin Matthews

no amount of money could make me spend 14days in toronto, no woman alive, no relative, nothing....
i cant express the importance of how glad you will be to leave... i havent been in years,
you could have youre soul eaten in the oil patch for big bucks and still be within 6 hours of ice climbing in jasper...
youll realise what youve done apon landing in the sea of houses.
holy crap man dont do it!!!

Fixed your link.

You and OP make sure you PM me so we can go climbing outside. I will be back in Mississauga on March 5.

Good day to you all.

P.S. Colin: Is there any way your yoga could help me with my lower back pain ?

There is every way that "my yoga" will help you with your back pain. I used to be a constantly injured climber with chronic shoulder pain...yoga changed my life. (I liked it so much in fact, that I bought the company)

Contact me if you have any further questions. I can't believe that more climbers don't do yoga.

We do not eat souls, we sell them, its bay street, between all the religions in Toronto there are alot of different devils and demons to tell your soul to.

The S&S 100 index, (soul and sanity 100) on the TSX check it out .
