Hey Guys,
Anyone know what is going on with the Friction Fix in Fayetteville? Their webpage is down and their phone is disconnected. The Waterstone server is messed up. I need my shoes resoled and I don't want to mail them some one who may have closed his shop. Any info is appreciated. Thx!

I spoke with Jason the other day and he gave no indication the his shop is closed. Gimme half a day. I'll try to find out what's up.

So the story I hear is that 'Friction Fix' is open but not the same guy. ie, if you send your shoe there, they'll resole it but it's not the same guy who's been doing it...
I was there at the Waterstone and I asked about this and they wouldn't give me a straight answer...

OK...let's go ahead and clear this one up. The Friction Fix is well and good. It is and has been run by Jason Babkirk and his wife Rachel for the past 8 years. I'm confused as to why anyone would be getting no answers from Water Stone since people drop shoes off there for Jason very frequently. The FF website HAS been down for a while, it is now back up with a new domain:

or call Jason and Rachel at 304-469-2886
That should clear up any questions.
