Does anyone know what the route just left of Monkey Mayhem is? The route starts below the tree, climbs up the overhang and then up to the silver chains (about 8 feet left of Monkey Mayhem chains). The route follows the bolts out near the arete overlooking the rock pools. It looks like is across from Guerilla Drilla and that block.

I love the climb and would like to know what it is. I kept thinking it was chopping block, but it doesn't seem right (plus the lower section is a bit stiff for a 5.8).

It's called Chimps Ahoy and rated 5.10b starts below the ledge that Monkey Mahem starts on. It has some shitty rock and potential for shitty rope drag.

Found all the info in the route database. It's a powerful tool when you use it.Wink

You are correct on the drag, but the best way when belaying the second on top rope would be to use the ledge at the base of "monkey mayhem" next to the oak tree. I guess when you get lemons you try to make lemonade.Tongue
